Beautiful lakeside property with bright and airy interiors

We have featured several works recently of , and today we are sharing another wonderful home tour with you of a lakeside residence in Carver County, Minnesota. What makes this home so special is its peaceful and serene setting, surrounded by nature and evoking a coastal aesthetic that is very visually stunning. The interior decor scheme features bright pops of color throughout, whether it be on the furnishings or accent colors on the wall and built-in cabinetry. Arched ceilings in the living room keeps the space bright and airy, while floor-to-ceiling windows offers its inhabitants a seamless connection between indoors and out. An open floor plan of the living, dining room and kitchen helps to facilitate entertaining family and friends in style. The flooring in the great room features a richly stained walnut which is covered by area rugs in the living and dining area to help delineate the spaces.

The front entryway welcomes guests into the home, offering sweeping views through the glass fronted windows of the living room and out to the wooded property and lake beyond. The dark tiling contrasts nicely with the crisp white walls clad with wood. A coastal colored area rug breathes life into the space, as does the brightly colored console table.

What We Love: A crisp white kitchen adds a coastal vibe to the space, while the powder blue cabinetry on the custom designed island has a weathered look that is very attractive. The kitchen has plenty of space for chopping, entertaining and just hanging out.. love it! … the lakeside view isn’t too shabby either!

The kitchen island countertop is comprised of silestone (a quartz surface), the name of it is called “Lagoon”. The perimeter countertops are clad in a beautiful contrasting black granite. The backsplash is also a stunning feature, comprised of a Carrara marble tiling.

Love this cozy little nook, a great space to curl up and read a book!

This stylish powder bathroom is all decked out with a nicely patterned wall covering in a soothing shade of blue… and don’t forget to look up and notice the blue beadboard ceiling. Every detail seems to have been paid attention to in this cozy home!

The mudroom is a very cozy space, consisting of built-in cabinetry to store boots, shoes and loose items as well as a great space to hang jackets, scarves and even bags… the best part? The built-in seating to sit down and take off your shoes, especially helpful with little ones!
