Modest facade reveals sumptuous interiors in Corona del Mar

This fabulous contemporary residence was designed by , in collaboration with , located in Corona del Mar, California. This project was designed as a 3,000 square foot family home, where the homeowners have a deep appreciation for modern architecture and international style. They requested that their home cater to their lifestyle needs, a design that is unique, yet at the same time family-friendly. From the quiet street, one would have no idea that on the other side of the home is a coastal setting that is magnified from the interior of the home. The interiors feature luxurious style and sophistication, with designer furnishings and the finest of materials and finishes throughout.

Dream home in Corona del Mar with ocean views

The fireplace wall features an eye-catching piece of modern art that conceals the television, with two smaller versions above, perfect for watching multiple games and other entertainment venues. Convenient access to a home bar is positioned on the opposite side of the living area, making entertainment a breeze. The double height of the living room adds grandeur to the space, while the second level offers an open hallway lined with glass railings to provide transparency.

What We Love: Sumptuous interiors in varying shades of neutrals with pops of color displayed in the artwork, pillows and fabrics. Indoor-outdoor connections and open and spacious floor plan makes this the perfect home for entertaining. What are your thoughts on this home, is it a hit or miss?

An internal courtyard outside features a firewall with cozy seating arrangements to enjoy the warmth after a dip in the glass-like swimming pool. An outdoor shower provides a great spot for a quick rinse off after a swim in the pool.

A kitchen and lounge space walled with sliding glass panels adjacent to the swimming pool provides a convenient place to entertain family and guests while enjoying both the pool and views over the ocean.
