Elegance and sophistication defines transitional style Lincoln Park home

This project consists of a beautiful transitional style renovation of an existing single family historic landmark home by , located in Lincoln Park, a community of Chicago, Illinois. Comprised of 5,700 square feet of living space, Fullerton Residence was designed for a family of six. The family was relocating from London to Chicago, who desired for their home to provide them with clean lines and a sense of calm. To help them create this aesthetic, Los Angeles-based interior firm  was commissioned for the task. The designers selected a variety of eye-catching materials in combination with a harmonizing color scheme. The original architectural details of this classic 1880s urban pad can be witnessed throughout the interiors. The details seem to gracefully stand out with the selection of clean lined furnishings and custom cabinetry to complement the home’s storied past.

— “The unifying colors and tones flow with the floor plan, visually connecting room to room,” states Jennifer Miller Studio. “Mixing vintage along with new, while utilizing practical textiles and surfaces make this home child and pet friendly, while still exuding an undertone of elegance and sophistication.”

What We Love: This stunning transitional style home exudes warmth and comfort with durable fabrics and finishes that are perfect for family living. Historically preserved details mixes elegantly with updated fixtures and finishes. The kitchen is one of our favorite rooms, dressed in white, it is clean lined and sophisticated.
