30+ Incredibly inspiring contemporary deck ideas with fire features

There is nothing more dramatic than integrating a fire pit onto your outdoor deck. It helps to create warmth and a wonderful ambiance from its crackling flames to entertain your guests. There are many stylish ways that you can add these elements to your deck, whether it be built-in or a decorative fire bowl. There are many factors to take into consideration, most importantly your space constraints. You can hire a landscape architect to help you construct this outdoor feature, or you can purchase one from a reseller.

If you are a DIY person, you can even construct one yourself, just be sure to follow some simple safety guidelines. This would include making sure you have adequate insulation between the fire pit and the deck. If you have a smaller fire pit, pavers or fire pads will suffice. If you include a fire pit on your deck, be sure to never leave your fire unattended and be careful with having an open flame on a windy day. Keep your gas fire pit at a safe distance from structural walls or roof overhangs.
