This timeless modern farmhouse was designed by in collaboration with , located in Spicewood near Austin, Texas. With 4,851 square feet of living space, this five bedroom, five bathroom home was designed for the Rough Hollow Parade of Homes in 2016. The overall design was inspired by Old World German architecture along with the elegance of a Texas Hill Country home.

Inside you will find a towering vaulted great room with exposed trusses and extensive use of wood beams, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. Highlights of this home includes a chef’s kitchen with luxuriously appointed appliances, a spa-like master bathroom with an adjoining exercise room, and an inviting entry courtyard and backyard pool oasis flanked by a detached and covered outdoor dining pavilion.

Above: Materials elements used on the exterior facade of this home includes Austin native stone, a metal roof and wood Board & Batten siding. These use of these materials helps to contribute to the simple, timeless and elegant feel of the home.
